WeLearn is the conception of its founder Elina Aggarwal. The project strives to provide both, access to resources and the right support to help adolescent girls in dually dealing with challenges in learning and mental health. The aim being, to do so by targeting three primary areas.
The first is via the development of an 8-module guide that outlines different learning styles and strategies educators can use to create a more supportive environment and address personal needs of each student. Alongside this, an authored series of articles will also be published and used to explore current theories and practices within education to raise awareness about the efficiency of these policies.
Finally, WeLearn also wishes to create large-scale community impact by initiating a fundraising campaign that raises money for equal mental health services and one-on-one counseling sessions, that can help adolescents develop coping strategies for their long-term mental well-being. Additionally, the initiative is also committed to organizing a seminar with child psychologists and other experts, for them to connect with teachers and guide them on identifying and handling learning disabilities in the present.
